Big Orchard Survey

It might be an orchard in your garden, a community orchard, commercial or other orchard you know about. It might be in good condition or unmanaged and overgrown. For this survey ‘an orchard’ is a collection of five or more fruit trees – typically apple, pear, cherry and plum trees, but it might also contain fruits like medlar, apricot, quince and nuts.

It won’t take long to complete our survey questionnaire, telling us about the orchard itself and also the wildlife it contains. The information we gather will help us to assess the status of orchards in our region and summaries of the results will be published from time to time on our website and in our members’ newsletter. We will not make public your private details.
