Lindsey Gage

Dessert gage. Raised by Mr. Cunnington of West Barkwith, near Wragby before 1936. It is probably a seedling of a Green Gage. It is similar in appearance but smaller in size and sweeter in flavour.

Pick and use late Aug to early Sept.
