Chelmsford Wonder
Culinary apple. Raised at Chelmsford in 1870. Introduced in 1890 by the nurseryman William Saltmarsh. A large long-keeping yellow skinned apple. Some orange-red flush and a few broken red stripes. Very acidic when cooked.
