Discovery
Early dessert apple. Raised by Mr. Dummer of Langham in 1949. One parent was Worcester Pearmain. The variety was only named in 1962. Pale yellowish skin which can be almost totally covered with a bright red flush. Very juicy crisp flesh but the apple does not keep long after picking. Has good resistance to scab and mildew.

Pick mid Aug and use from Aug to Sept
