Edith Hopwood

Dessert apple. Raised by Mr. Thorrington of Hornchurch in 1925 as a Cox’s Orange Pippin seedling. Golden yellow and medium sized. Best picked early and allowed to ripen in store. Sharp, complex, spicy flavour.
