Hanworth Codlin

Culinary apple. Arose as a seedling in the gardens of Hanworth Rectory, near Aylsham around 1948. A striking medium to large pale-yellow skinned ‘codlin’ covered with broken red stripes. Best eaten shortly after picking. Keeps shape when cooked. Has good scab resistance.
