Improved Fertility

Dessert pear. Found at Seabrook’s Nursery, Boreham, in 1934. A russetted sport of the pear Fertility, which was raised in 1875 by Rivers’ Nursery in Sawbridgeworth, Herts. A medium sized, sweet, juicy pear. It is a self-fertile variety so doesn’t need another pear tree to produce fruit.
