Laxton’s Early Market

Dessert pear. Raised by Laxton Bros. of Bedford in 1907 and introduced 1927. A cross of the varieties Marie-Louise x Doyenne D’Ete. Small to medium-sized, yellowish green with a dull reddish flush and some red broken stripes.
