Laxton’s Harvester

Dessert pear. Raised by Laxton Bros. of Bedford in 1932. Unknown parentage. Introduced 1934. Roundish to conical in shape and medium sized. Dull yellowish green with a pinkish-red flush, russet dots and thin russet. Soft, fine, juicy flesh.
