Tun Apple

Dessert apple. Known in Essex since at least the mid 1800s. A tall, lemon yellow skinned apple with a deep carmine flush, a few red stripes and some russet. Flesh is coarse but flavour is slightly aromatic.

Pick mid Oct and use from Oct to Dec
