Laxton’s Early Gage

Dessert gage. Raised by Laxton’s Bros. nursery at Bedford before 1948. A Reine Claude de Bavay x Prune Peche  cross.  Large, oval shaped, yellow with a chalky bloom. Juicy, sweet flesh.
